Hillscourt Hotel

Hillscourt is the new location for the Distant Stitch Summer School. Conveniently located next to the Lickey Hills in leafy south Birmingham, close to Bromsgrove town, Hillscourt is both far enough away and near enough to Birmingham City Centre. Hillscourt House is set within 25 acres of beautiful grounds, and is valued by people looking for striking surroundings, high quality accommodation and first class service.

A little bit of our history

Hillscourt House was built in 1897 and was originally the home of a wealthy Victorian businessman, before becoming a preparatory school. In 1971, it was purchased by the National Association of School Masters and Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT) who continue to own and manage Hillscourt.
