Distant Stitch has led the way in online Embroidery Courses for 30 years with a reputation of excellence in helping our worldwide students achieve their creative spirit.

After 30 years of running the very successful Distant Stitch online courses, tutoring many, many student from around the world, Jacqui, our wonderful tutors and myself have decided to close the website. This will happen on 31st August 2022.


Students who are currently part way through their courses will of course continue to be supported. Your individual Course tutor will continue to tutor you. They will maintain their supportive feedback whenever you need it. In future, this will be via their personal email addresses rather than through the website.

As you can see, we’re certainly not putting our feet up and retiring, but consider this a new phase of our online teaching. We will all continue supporting you after 31st August, by email via the tutor’s individual email addresses.
